OUR HISTORY

Altus Health System founded the Altus Baytown Hospital in 2010, transitioning into a 14-bed specialty surgical hospital in 2014. Following the huge success of Altus Baytown Hospital, in 2017 Altus Health System answered the requests of local physicians, opening a second location in the heart of Houston, and Altus Houston Hospital was born. Altus Houston Hospital is a 10-bed, 31,500 sq ft facility, with 3 ER beds and provides specialized services, including spine, orthopedic, ENT, and podiatry procedures performed by top doctors in Houston and surrounding areas.

In 2018, Altus Health System acquired six Neighbors Emergency Center locations, expanding our ability to provide unparalleled healthcare to the greater Houston area.
